As we are not all watch savants I thought it might be a good idea to add a link to a short article explaining the Chronograph.
The people over at the Gentleman’s Gazette have a wonderful explanation of this complication as well as a bit on the history of the movement. Definitely worth the read if your interested. As I try to guide my own work towards chronographs, a bit of history will help the reader understand the posts found on this blog.
